PLEASE HELP ME Cant Get My Senao Wireless Card To Work

and that I don't know the sequence of steps that "are supposed" to occur when you plug in an external USB wifi device into Ubuntu 10.04 lucid. Any idea how to get Linux to recognize this external USB device? Is there no current information on how to set this hostap up using the kernel driver as is suggested here?!?!?!?!: http://hostap.epitest.fi/ Note! The OS, via the USB subsystem software, detected the device and "requested" the driver from the kernel (all software). http://waterjetmedia.com/please-help/please-help-me-to-download-hp-15-be1500tu-wireless-adapter-d.html

Have you > checked the pigtail to make sure its not damaged? My motherboard is an Asus Sabertooth 990Fx r2.0. but I did list some troubleshooting advice over here: How do we tell Ubuntu 10.04 to use a DIFFERENT wireless radio card? (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1737183) In addition, I recently found a WiFi extender That has nothing to do with the linux-wlan-ng driver.

But have problems when I use the 6500 in place of the SEnao AP. please help! Mostly > resulting in "network interface wlan0 does not exist" as shown below in > previous emails. don't keep blaming Ubuntu I had no idea of this issue of drivers needing to be of 'open source' origin.

I can't login to my Windows 8 Laptop. It's probably easier to strip down Debian than it is to transmogrify DSL to look more like a stock Debian system.Good Luck. The time now is 12:46. My System Specs You need to have JavaScript enabled so that you can use this ...

Airplane, turn off DHCP on the Linksys, and turn on routing on the AP. Doesn't seem to matter. And switch 1 port 2 would have dynamic IP addressing, going to my regular home computers. Rawhide15Oct 2, 2014, 8:07 PM I do have 3 mobo's here to test off of, 2 of which are the supposed faulty ones, the third is an Asus m5a97 r2.0.

Yes. I can't use apt-get or anything else until I get that working. Most contracts, for example, have what is called "boilerplate" that is cut-and-pasted into contracts. Please help Router login page and ip address wont work when typed in, it tells me that safari cant find the servers.

I'll have to build that into my contracts some way. The pci power settings are "OFF" and the power setting in Device manager are also set to NOT turn it off. ... I think thats why it pinged once and stopped. Then you have only seen it.

But could not gain access to the Internet, since the 6500 was now misconfigured. this content It was just convenient for me to plug into.I'm not so sure that I could have configured the TR 6500 as a router and pluged it directly into my DSL modem. Please help me... I'll take a look at your problem, but don't keep blaming Ubuntu - your support chances will deminish quite quickly.

Posted by hseaver on Feb. 23 2006,03:46 Gee, this is getting even weirder. Why in the world would they want to try to use ndiswrapper for a perfectly good linux module like prism2_cs from the linux-wlan-ng project? The OS, via the USB subsystem software, detected the device and "requested" the driver from the kernel (all software). weblink again...

The problem isn't Ubuntu - the problem is a lack of drivers. At least nobody has reported any USB wifi extenders that have worked with Ubuntu distributions. I even have a statement in my WiFi proposals, that we own all the WiFi equipment until the final payment is made.

Windows Trash, i mean Windows 10 is giving me an error saying This app can't be activated by the built-in Admin.

I know debian will work (even redhat did), it's just fat. I guess I assumed I didn't need it here...LOL.I guess there is no standard as to whether an AP needs a crossover or not. That will teach me.Now I will try it If it only applies to a single proposal = attachment.I have done it like this for years. Did not resolve the issue.
