My leak occurred 100% because I am an idiot, didn't practice what I preached, and didn't secure my tubing. If you have a small leak, you may not have to be as thorough as these instructions say. A replacement fan should only cost a few bucks, a high end one that's really quiet with long lasting bearings maybe $8-12 depending on size. How about that, how would that work compared to white lithium grease?
